A very rare specialist private subscription publication at the height of Queen Victoria’s Empire. This volume is one of eight originally drafted of which only a few were ever published: indeed this volume still has many unopened virgin pages. Note: the removal of the title page which once boasted of the eight planned divisions. That said, this volume is a good clean copy which contains a most interesting overview of what is known today as Canada.
