Just a fantastic read!!

If you enjoy cats, nature, or farming, I’m sure you will enjoy this book! Bodacious is a rescue cat with tractor loads of personality, and tells the story of shepherding/farming with nature from his unique perspective, along with stories told to him by ‘his’ female farmer known only as The Shepherd. Additionally, Bodacious has a crew of several adorable dogs & other cats to assist/bother him & The Shepherd as they sustainably raise black Zwartbles sheep, as well as horses and chickens.

In the book you amble through the seasons with Bodacious as he describes Irish nature and farming in gorgeous detail– you will actually learn a good bit (perhaps without realizing it!) through his entertaining voice and stories. I literally did laugh out loud at some points 🙂

There are many charming colour photos in both the Kindle version and the physical book (I bought both; I enjoyed the Kindle so much I wanted a hard copy too.) The hardback book has 8 pages of photos in the middle, while in the Kindle edition they are all located at the end. I think the price of either edition is well worth it, especially with the wonderful photos of the farm characters you’ll be reading about!
