A Marilyn is a hill in the British Isles that has at least 150m (492 feet) of relative height – 159 of the UK’s Marilyns sit within the fabulous landscape of Wales with its beautiful coastlines and quaint, rural villages. The mountain ranges in Wales have often been dismissed for the more famous Lake District and Peak District National Parks; you will struggle to find more breath-taking views than from the peaks of the mountains in Wales. With three national parks, each with their own unique geographical features, enjoy the views of lowland valleys and the wonderful welsh coastline – which can be seen from the peaks of some of the Marilyns!
