F.B.A. provides an in-depth photographic presentation of this item to stimulate your feeling and touch. More traditional book descriptions are immediately available.

A single guidebook to walking the whole Wales Coast Path – 1400km (870 miles) the length of Wales from Chester to Chepstow, including Anglesey. The route passes through the Snowdonia and Pembrokeshire National Parks and many AONBs and can be linked with the Offa’s Dyke Path for a complete circuit of Wales.

The route is presented in 57 stages, ranging from 16 to 32km, each featuring clear route description illustrated with 1:100,000 mapping, overview statistics and notes on the availability of accommodation, facilities and public transport links

The waymarked trail takes 2-3 months to complete but can easily be broken into shorter sections

The walking is generally not difficult, although there are occasional rugged sections, steep ascents and descents and more remote coastal stretches with fewer facilities

The Wales Coast Path is currently the longest waymarked trail in Britain and is the first in the world to offer the chance to walk a country’s coastline in its entirety

Review: The book is a really useful overview of the Welsh Coastal Path long distance trail. I am enjoying reading it and planning which sections to tackle. However, when I do set off I think I’m going to need a more detailed section by section guide and the local maps. That said, as a planning tool/overview the book is spot on.
