This reinterpretation of Biblical and ancient Egyptian history demonstrates that King David can be identified as Pharaoh Tuthmosis III and that the historical Jesus lived several centuries before the standard versions of history attribute his existence. The author contends – with evidence that includes the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Koran, the Talmud and Biblical sources – that the real Jesus can be identified as the Pharaoh Tutankhamun. Ahmed Osman is the author of “Stranger in the Valley of Kings” and “Moses: Pharaoh of Egypt”.

Review: I have found this book to be so enlightening that I cannot get my hands on enough second hand copies to pass on to friends. Regrettably, the book is no longer being published and is not easily available. I have even contacted the Vermont, USA distributors, as well as its London distributors about acquiring more copies of the book. It would seem that the book is no longer being published in its original title but has been replaced by another title, ”Jesus, in the House of the Pharaoh”written by the same author. The House of the Messiah was my first introduction to this author and he has remained one of my favourite scholars on biblical and ancient Egyptian history.
