• This is a fantastic compilation of documents and gathers them together very well. We must realise that all our translations of the New Testament into ANY language come from the NA27 (or earlier).This document is highly recommended by many scholars and is given to all students at a wide range of universities when they begin studying New Testament Greek. Well printed with a wide range of covers, this is perfect for scholars, theologians, pastors, students and anyone wanting to understand the depth and richness that the original Greek has to offer. An interesting side note and something many have been waiting for a long time for, the NA28 uses the phrasing in Jude 1:5 ‘though you+ have once and for all known [this], that Jesus’ where as the NA27 used ‘though you+ know all [this], that the Lord once’ – the change from ‘Lord’ to ‘Jesus’ has been something many have been waiting for a long time to come about. As all translations of Jude 1:5 use the term ‘Lord’ except for the ESV who chose to make the change to ‘Jesus’ before the NA28 did. This is a great move as our earliest manuscripts use ‘Jesus’ rather than ‘Lord’ and the ESV translation should be commended for this change before the NA28 comes out.
• This is brilliant, an excellent format and great printing quality with very minimal bleed-through, impressive for a book of this length/size. I wish they produced a Septuagint version!
• Valuable research tool in my New Testament studies. The Greek text is printed with its English translation underneath each word. The ESV is in the margin so comparing its translation with the Greek is simple. I have had a couple of years of Greek but I believe this interlinear translation can help those who can’t read Greek. It is amazing how many times I needed to check a comment or research something ‘strange’ in another translation or from faith groups claiming to be Christian.
