Gordon Cochrane Home (25 July 1878 – 13 December 1969) was an English landscape artist, writer and illustrator. Home was born in London. He worked as an art editor at “The Tatler”, “The King” and later at the publishers A & C Black. He served as a Major in the Royal Army Service Corps from 1914 to 1920 in France and North Africa, and later travelled widely in North Africa, the British Empire and the Commonwealth. Home worked mainly in watercolour and pen and ink and frequently exhibited at the Royal Academy. He exhibited at the first annual exhibition of the Society of Graphic Art in 1921. Home wrote and illustrated many travel and history books for A & C Black, J M Dent and other publishers.
