Jack founded the Michelin Guide ‘Midsummer House’- Cambridge’s paramount restaurant. This dining experience is hidden amongst the grassy pastures and grazing cattle of Midsummer Common and perched on the banks of the River Cam.

A Marks and Sparks Book: Very Good. First Edition. No dust jacket, decorated hard cover.

Review: I am being biased here as this cookery book dates from my childhood and my mother’s cooking. I visited her the other day and she made the curried apple soup – scrumptious – so I immediately went online and found a secondhand copy…… a real taste of home.
