A very well kept edition

Author identified as that of The Life of General Gordon; i.e. Eva Hope. Some rubbing and scuffing to binding. Very infrequent light spotting. Pages clean. A handsome copy, in very good condition. 

  1. M. Stanley (18411904) is a WelshAmerican explorer who is best known for his search for David Livingstone in central Africa. The author is Mary Anne Hearn pseud. Marianne Farningham or Eva Hope (1834-1909) who was a British feminist writer.
