I was looking for a fiction whodunnit, so I put the title, ‘Tail Gait’ into Amazon’s search engine. To my chagrin, 2 copies of Tail Gait appeared, along with three (count ’em, 3 !) non-fiction books about horses, none of which had the words ‘Tail’ nor ‘Gait’ in their titles!!! I was just about to close the page, when I noticed that one of the books was called ‘The Spirit of the Horse’. Now it happened that several years ago, there were 2 equine theater shows locally, one a year after the other, called The Spirit of the Horse. Thinking that this book might have photographs from these shows. I ordered it. It doesn’t. Instead, it has the most wonderful photographs of the various breeds of horse. with some very informative text, but it is worth getting the book for the photographs alone. Highly recommended
