Simon’s Cat (literally “Simon’s cat”) is an animated series conceived and created starting from 2008 by the British animator Simon Tofield. The series features a domestic cat who in each episode devises a different way to get fed. Episodes of Simon’s Cat are available on YouTube, and received more than 20 million hits.

The series follows the adventures of a cat owned by Simon (the same creator of the series), who devises the most bizarre and fun ways to get fed by his owner. The typical gag in fact concerns the cat who, after having caused yet another disaster, points with his paw to his owner who sighs resignedly towards the screen. During the series the cat will live many adventures and will always meet new characters such as Teddy, a kitten adopted by Simon, with whom he will initially have many conflicts due to Teddy’s habit of taking Simon’s cat’s things, even if they later become friends.
