Robert Seymour (1798-1836) was an illustrator perhaps best remembered for his illustrations for the novels of Dickens, especially ‘The Pickwick Papers’. This volume contains eighty-six of his entertaining caricatures accompanied by humorous verses and stories fleshing out the scene.
