Review: A fascinating, well-written collection of tales. From the very first sentence Ms. Bell’s style exudes atmosphere and charm. Once I started reading I had to continue late into the evening. As the title suggests it’s the perfect book for curling up in a comfy armchair next to an open fire with a hot drink. What happens in this book will enthral, delight and surprise. It’s also perfect for reading out loud, so perhaps an audio version should be made available by the author?
