Very good condition, medium octavo in binding by Andrew Reid (Newcastle), Morocco blocked in gilt, bevelled edges with a device in gilt on the front as a surround “Bruce’s Academy” spine faded to mid brown, five raised bands and gilt decoration, rear cover blind embossed borders, top edges gilt, marbled end papers with binder’s label on front end paper, light foxing throughout otherwise clean and bright with firm binding, 8 plates with tissue guards, xi plus 308 pages.
