He writes on the ancient military and commemoration, and has taught and travelled extensively in Greece, Italy, and the Mediterranean. Dr Matthew A. Sears is an associate professor of Classics and Ancient History at the University of New Brunswick in Canada. He writes on ancient history and culture and has taught and travelled extensively in Greece and the Mediterranean.
