A nice early edition which has expertly been rebound for another 200 years of use.  A well intended book which no longer matches today’s historic rigor.  Very worth the read. Volume one runs from 1856BC to 1859AD, although the author had reached 1700 by page 109! Volume two runs from 1860 to 1865.
