From the very first page FAITH OF THE FALLEN PITCHES pitched Richard and Kahlan into their most desperate fight yet, a fight where worlds hung in the balance. FAITH OF THE FALLEN took The Sword of Truth into a new decade and onto new heights of intense, thoughtful and meaningful fantasy while never losing sight of the need to tell a compelling and sweeping story. PILLARS OF CREATION will continue that progression with Richard and Kahlan pursued to the ends of the world by an implacable and lethal demon. It will allow Terry Goodkind to investigate new depths in his characters, to change fantasy and to make The Sword of Truth the dominant fantasy series of the first decade of the new millennium.

Review: As we have come to expect, a really well written book that has depth and some really good content. And I believe that telling a story from different views is fine, and even focusing on another character for a couple of chapters can be refreshing too… but the whole book? Sorry, not quite (Richard & Khalan were on a dozen or so pages) – is a little long for me. Its not that i did not like the book (far from it) i just expected to read a bit more about the main characters, i mean they are the focus of the series of books and have kept me reading thus far… As an avid fan I would buy the book regardless – however if you are feeling a little poor after christmas do not rush out and buy this one – get it at your leisure you are not missing out of anything amazing. Still, better to wait one year and get an ok book than have to wait 2 years! (come on Jordan….)

Terry Goodkind is a #1 New York Times Bestselling Author and creator of the critically acclaimed masterwork, ‘The Sword of Truth’. He has written 30+ major, bestselling novels, has been published in more than 20 languages world-wide, and has sold more than 26 Million books. ‘The Sword of Truth’ is a revered literary tour de force, comprising 17 volumes, borne from over 25 years of dedicated writing. Terry Goodkind’s brilliant books are character-driven stories, with a focus on the complexity of the human psyche. Goodkind has an uncanny grasp for crafting compelling stories about people like you and me, trapped in terrifying situations. With masterful storytelling, Goodkind brings us into the lives of his characters; characters that must rise to face not only challenges, but their deepest fears. For that reason, Goodkind’s characters speak to the best and worst in all of us. While ‘The Sword of Truth’ series is confirmation enough of Goodkind’s incredible storytelling abilities, his broad talents are also clearly evident in his contemporary novels, set within our own world. His post-‘Sword of Truth’ books are a thrilling, dizzying, mix of modern narrative, with every bit of Goodkind’s masterful voice intact. The bond built between the reader and one of the world’s great authors rises above worlds and settings, mere backdrops for Goodkind’s uniquely intricate stories of life, love, challenge, and triumph. “My privilege in life is the joy of writing books and telling stories about people who fascinate me, the good and the bad. I am grateful to all of my readers for the critical role they play in making these books possible. Your passion is my passion, and I thank you.” – Terry Goodkind.
