  • F.B.A. provides an in-depth photographic presentation of this item to stimulate your feeling and touch. More traditional book descriptions are immediately available.

A political, stylistic and technical history of architecture from 450 AD to the modern day, including a discussion of the architects who created the most significant buildings during this period.

Review: A little out of date but still a competent reference to traditional British Architecture. If you want to learn about the basic epochs of architectural style then this book is a good starter. Not in the Pevsner range of critique but a useful reference all the same, being easy to read accompanied by good details and drawings. At the price – it is a steal.
