Review: Wow !!!! Ms Helen Van Slyke is a great author. This is my second novel of hers. She takes on families’ lives and tackles them in great enjoyable scenarios. I loved the novel ” The Heart Listens” very very much. But “Sisters and Strangers” did it for me. It touched me so profoundly . This novel portrays the Daltons and their daughters . Ms Slyke takes on parents and children’s complex relationships, adoption , domestic violence, love, hate and suspense.
