Realising an ambition to travel, Hannah Hauxwell, author of “Seasons of My Life”, visits many famous places, including Paris, the Alps, Geneva and Venice. Her experiences are compared with those of 19th century travellers, and she meets many local inhabitants with whom she finds much in common.
