Review: I have now acquired this book and find it to be not only very interesting but of top quality and visually very pleasant. The book contains 396 pages of interesting information about nutrition, health and food in general. It debunks food myths and reveals ways of checking food claims for and against health. It has an index of over 3000 topics.
The book contains excellent photographs of food items that are conveniently placed to enable easy access to information. There is very helpful information on nutrition to guard against illness; common mistakes to avoid with food and the debunking of long-established myths about food and health.
