Volume 3 ‘Daimler Days’ is intended to be a supplement to the first two volumes, published in 1996. It is less a ‘textbook’ but rather more a compilation of additional data relating to Daimler cars with, in many cases, biographical details of their owners – past  or present.  It is hoped that the narrative, testimonies, numerous photographs and images will provide pleasure to the browser as well as serving the enthusiast seeking information on a selection of specific cars. To this end, the Author has welcomed contributions made by current or past owners, restorers, auctioneers, dealers and other enthusiasts from around the world. 

While ranging from the earliest days through to the end of Daimler production in 2008, Volume 3 also includes the outcome of in-depth research concerning some of  the legendary ‘Double-Sixes’, ‘Straight-Eights’ ‘Dolphins’ and other outstanding examples of the marque from around the world. Appendix II, with a Foreword by His Highness Prince Manvendra Singh of Barwani, focusses on some of the lavish and exceptional Daimler cars in India.

The first two Volumes have become collectors’ items and now command a premium. This new work, a little different in style but entirely consistent in quality, content and appeal with the previous two volumes, completes the ‘Daimler Days’ trilogy.
