Wendy Jelbert has exhibited for the “Women’s Society of Artists”, “The International Floral Society of Artists”, and the “The Society of Acrylic Painters” exhibiting in The Mall and Westminster Galleries London, The First View Gallery Stourhead, John Bourne Gallery Reigate, and St Ives Society of Artists. Wendy has written 41 books on Watercolour, Mixed Media, Pen, Line and Wash, Drawing and Sketching and Acrylics. These have been published for Batsford, Search Press, Collins and many have been translated into Russian, Italian, French, Swedish, Danish, Arabic, Chinese and several more. Her 14 art DVDs, covering a wide range of subjects, have been on Television and Youtube. She also has designed two Watercolour brushes which have been used all over the world. As well as this she was an accredited art demonstrator of Caran D”Ache, Swan Stabilo, Liquitex, Winsor and Newton, and Rowneys. She gives and lectures and demonstrations to art groups and societies and runs popular workshops on a wide variety of subjects. She has demonstrated at all many prestigious art shows including ‘Art in Action’ (Near Oxford) Art and Illustrator Exhibition (Olympia Hall) London, ‘Artist Materials Exhibition’ at the Design Centre, Islington London. Wendy has taught for over 40 years in the most well known Residential Colleges in The UK. West Dean College (Chichester), Urchfont (Devizes), Dedham Hall (Essex), and Women’s Institute Denman College,(Near Oxford) Dartington Hall (Devon). She has won many prizes throughout her career. Wendy’s husband, Paul Robinson, is a retired Architect who now paints and teaches with Wendy. She also has two daughters, Rebecca and Rosalind, who are following in their mother’s footsteps, and a multitude of grandchildren who love to ‘express themselves’ in paint!
