This vintage cookbook, published by Radiation Ltd. in Britain around 1929 (with the 8th Enlarged and Revised Edition), was specifically designed to accompany the  then‑innovative New World gas cookers equipped with Regulo electronic (thermostatic) temperature control. The Regulo mechanism allowed users to set and maintain precise heat levels, quite advanced for its time and a precursor to modern oven thermostats.
