Vogelsang; Harper’s Art Library series; Plates made by Koningsveld & Zoon; 7 full-page color plates incl. Frontispiece; religious themes dominate much of Ven der Weyden’s painting; he was designated the Town Painter in 1435, for the City of Brussels & held this position until he died in 1464; decorated heavy cardboard boards have some corner bumping as does the spine.
