This book is small, yet its organization makes it the beginning book for all. The size meant that the item can be referred to as an authoritative source. The print made it easily readable. A Catholic high school discarded it, but it must have needed space to shelve other books. I can recommend it as an introduction and as a quick refresher course for the western and eastern European middle ages. I recommend the item and its seller.
