Some will say ‘Heard it all before-nothing new’, but Bob Brier does not ram any of the theories down your throat. He decides instead, to let the reader form their own opinion as he gently guides you from theory to theory. My suspicion lies with Tutankhamen’s guide and mentor, the ageing Aye as the culprit. As for me,it’s back to the library or dusty old bookshops as I cannot afford to go trekking across The Valley Of the Kings in Egypt
