Memoirs of Maj John Corneille (b c1727), British Army, describing voyage to India (1754) as secretary to Col John Adlercron, British Army, Colonel 39th Foot, C-in-C, Madras 1754-57, travels in south India and his part in military expeditions to Madras and Bengal, including an account of the battle of Plassey (23 Jun 1757) and description of Bengal.
