Original publisher’s half leather in blue, with blue cloth sides and gilt lettering at the spine. Attractive marbled blue endpapers, and gilt page head.

Ida Mary Roper (1865-1935) was a British botanist and author. She was the first female president of the Bristol Naturalist Society.
